In the early 1900's a candy maker called Charles Maynard created his new and unique "Wine Gums". Bursting with flavor and a delicate pleasure to chew they became an instant success. The pleasantly firm texture allows the full fruit flavors to linger, similiar to the pleasurable experience of savouring a fine wine. Wine gums seemed a most appropiate label.
