Lyles Golden Syrup is partially inverted refiner's syrup. It has a delightful toffee like taste. It can be used in the same way that sugar is used. In baking it adds a wonderful flavor to cakes, pastries, and is especially good when mixed with oatmeal to produce oatmeal cookies. Also use Golden Syrup as a glaze on meat, such as duck or roast pheasant.
